Dr. T. Joseph Raoof has been practicing medicine for the past 22 years. His internist graduate degree was obtained from the prestigious Colombia University and USC. He specializes in internal medicine, hypertension, with special interest in dermatology utilizing only the most up-to-date procedures and medical analysis. As clinical assistant professor of medicine at USC medical center, Dr. Raoof has done extensive research in hypertension, otherwise known as high blood pressure. His private office is equipped with complete diagnostic tools for analysis and treatment of different medical problems. Some of the diagnostic tests and equipment include:

1) Laboratory capable of any/all blood work (i.e. cholesterol, kidney, thyroid)

 2) strep infection of the throat

 3) chest x-ray and pulmonary breathing function for diagnosis of lung infection and asthma

 7) exercise treadmill and pulse oximetry for blood oxygen and holter monitor for detecting heart problems

 10) vascular Doppler

 11) echocardiogram

Hypertension is a common problem; with proper diagnosis and special treatments, the prevention of complications (i.e. heart and eye problems) is possible.
